Have you heard of the 20 project?
“It’s a book targeted at 20 yr olds who are going through a ‘Quarter Life Crisis’ It is about sharing our mistakes and stories not telling you what to do! This project brings together contributors from around the world. The contributors have shared the lessons they have learned in their lives in very different ways. One of our hopes is to inspire anyone who picks up the book and maybe it will make a positive impact on their life or they can see that there is always another way”.
Why do we love this project? Two reasons.
1. The project founder, Hilary Curry, is a friend and fellow Vancouver field hockey player. We like to support our own!
2. Collegiate athletes often go through a difficult transition period after their college playing years are over. It is very hard to go from training and competing for hours every day to transitioning to a ‘day job’ where you might be at a desk 8 hours a day. What better way to help this transition then with a book like this! The contributors in this book represent a vast variety of backgrounds, geographic locations, travel experiences, industries and have lots and LOTS of life experience that you can learn from!
I’m sure we all know someone (maybe yourself!) that could benefit from a little sage advice from “the other side of 20” Have a look at their website and Kickstarter campaign and consider donating to this great project!
Good Luck Hilary!!
